KANATA // BANNOCKBURN

This project is located on a large estate just outside of Kanata, Ottawa. The goal for this project was to create a meditation space that would encourage a sense of peace and tranquility - an immersive experience surrounded by the sights and sounds of nature. We used all natural materials including long Limestone stepping stones, leading the eye to a garden in the background, lush with ornamental grasses and large feature rocks. We also included a 7’ custom rock bubbler, further enhancing the experience with the sound of water. A corten steel wood burning fire pit, prolongs the use of the space into the evening creating a cozy environment.
