MANOTICK
This unique project near the village of Manotick is a great example of how to maximize the use out of an exposed and minimal yard space. To achieve the much needed privacy for this side yard turned backyard, we used sections of cedar fencing, a custom cedar double gate across the driveway, and columnar trees. We added an outdoor kitchen, seating area under a cedar pergola, and textured gardens to break up and soften the hardscape. The carpentry work was done with the Arts & Crafts style in mind as the clients had a more traditional vision for their wood work.
